Andria Keen (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Toronto who holds an MFA from York University and a BFA with distinction from OCAD University, where she was awarded the 2023 Bluma Appel Award and the 2024 OCAD Artist
Project Career Launcher. Her recent solo exhibitions include How the light Gets In (2025) and Regarding a Tree (2024). Keen has also participated in group exhibitions at Art Mûr (Montreal) and East End Arts’ Nuit Blanche (2022 and 2023).

Keen’s practice centres on labour-intensive, meditative processes that embrace imperfection and keep the artist’s hand visible. Her interactive works invite introspection through phenomenological engagement with form that blends abstraction, figuration and narrative rooted in symbolism. Informed by existential philosophy, quantum theory and consciousness studies, her art explores temporality, non-hierarchical relationship with nature, and humanity’s place within deep time.
